We, at Zelley Jewellers, are delighted to share the story of a remarkable project that showcased our skills and commitment to creating unique and sentimental jewellery pieces. Recently, we had the privilege of undertaking a truly extraordinary job for a client that left a profound impact on us.
The client approached us with a beautiful and heartfelt request: he wanted to wear his late wife’s engagement ring until the time came for his daughter to inherit it. This request touched our hearts, and we knew we had to create something truly special and meaningful.
We embarked on the challenge to create a new ring from the old with utmost care and attention to detail. Our journey began by meticulously crafting a computer-aided design (CAD) of the original engagement ring. We wanted to ensure that every minute detail was captured accurately, as preserving the sentimental value was of utmost importance to us.
With the CAD design as our guide, our skilled jeweller set to work. Using their expertise and passion for their craft, they carefully encased the original engagement ring within a hand-made sleeve, giving birth to an entirely unique design that held immeasurable sentimental value. We were determined to create a one-of-a-kind piece of jewellery that would fulfil the unique brief.
After much dedication and craftsmanship, the result was unveiled—the Arpino ring. This stunning signet-style little finger ring was given its name with the family’s permission. The ladies’ engagement ring fits perfectly into the gents’ outer ring, forming a seamless and harmonious union that embodied the essence of their love and connection.
